Default Getting ready for first DE in the GT3 this weekend!

Got my GT2 seats from fellow Rennlister Brim installed today with BK sub bars and Schroth harnesses, from OG and HMS respectively.

We branded the car with some livery for the heck of it.

This is also my first real post since I got the car a few months ago so I am attaching some pics.

I appreciate all the info I have gotten from you guys.

Thanks,
Bobby

Great car....I've had one for over four years. Basically no problems. It is a drivers car.

Agreed!

Damn nice set-up! Remember- leave the ego at home, have fun, and understand you will be passed by a lot of people as you learn the car and track. It doesn't matter! Fun and driving safely are the key to your success.

Enjoy and welcome to the slippery slope club

Nice outfit--certainly gonna win the best-dressed award if not the DE event itself : )

Know that Vinyl isn't gonna offer real protection. You'll need to clearbra that front and area behind the doors if you start tracking regularly.

Enjoy the event and share with us your impressions afterwards!

I too just completed my first track day; loved it!
Biggest thing I learned: be smooth & relax
Biggest improvement you can make: educate you the driver.
If you can have an experienced driver drive your car with you as a passenger - it'll open your eyes.
Also the seats & harness will make a big improvement (I've got to upgrade from stock seats/belts).
You will love your car even more; it's built for the track!

From what I understand DE's are scored similarly to Tokyo Drift... graded on style, brand of coffee can used in making muffler and resemblance to Vin Diesel...

Actually this will be my second one, just first in the GT3. I did it last year in the Carrera 4.

LOL, I'd be hehe.

Nice setup though. Many disagree, but beginner or not get the best tool for the hobby. I wish I had.
