Yep the windows down thing makes no sence. I say windows up and use the blinkers for the point by. Seems safer to me because you don't have to take your hand off the wheel and stick it outside of the car at 100+mph and with the windows up I won't get pelted by rubber tire bits when Reter comes flying by me in a corner.
in a case of actual rollover without a net on a window glass down is way more dangerous. is it something that was just historically accepted as a norm?

Guys I don't think I'm gonna make for dinner. I couldn't find transport, so I have 2 friends going with me. So I can drive my car, and the fat bastard to the track. (I have transport back though).
I'm leaving around 7pm from work, gotta go to Palm Beach to pick up my car, and leave from there.

I'm doing one more DE this summer - Barber - then, I'm waiting for cooler weather. Probably mid to late September.
Followed by Daytona in October.. Nov->March = Sebring ;-)
Fudge it's hot.....
Just go to you cool place, close your eyes..you're in an iglo, you're shivering cold..you can see yu own breath it's so cold..you can't remember ever being so cold..
