Yeah, I can see it's clearly a Michelin. Savyboy has some dark, strange phobia about Hoosiers, and I'm just yanking his chain. Maybe he's read too many Steven King novels. Didn't he write that one about the children of the corn? LOL

Sooner or later, scurvybuoy is going to have to use the force.

I think the forgiattas are "great" but I have to finish the process of making sure they are correctly fitted to the car before advocating them -- for now, all I can do here is make a cautionary note.

Are you guys tracking with 18 or 19" wheels? 18" still is popular here in Florida on .2 cars.
With drive to the track r-comps seems like a few left over Toyo RA1's are available and then the current R888 in 18" sizes. I can't find any other "drive to the track" r-comp in 18" avaiable.
Seems like the move for "drive to the track tires" is in 19" with MPSC, Trofeo and R888....however the Michelin and Pirelli are ultra expensive and about out of my league and I'm not sure they would be worth it.
Thought and opinions?

Ask me how I know.

If you've ordered them directly from Forged Alloys, you're in for a very, very long wait. You'll never get a tracking number either. You may not get the finish you ordered. You will be lucky if they actually fit the car (I even got a set of 5 lugs shipped to me instead of centerlocks!). If you point out any of these issues, Forged Alloys will blame it on you somehow.
Ask me how I know.

I needed a another set of wheels for the 2RS and chose to try these Superforgiatas due to low weight. And in stock. On that car I am sticking with the N1/N2 rated MPSC's.
May go slicks someday... But I like the MPSC's and Trofeos.
There have been all kinds of problems with Forged Alloys USA as far as delays, errors, etc. I experienced it and so did others. The Oxnard vs Italy question is another issue. The wheels themselves when correct and actually in hand, have been superb and I did have three sets, one centerlock and two five-lug. Very light, durable and strong and of course good looking.
