Check out the racing forum and the thread "is this blocking". It's a mid Ohio so now you know the course and you can see what to do to keep orange RS behind you.
You will drive road Atlanta next year, no excuses!!!

That also confirms that I should be 7 secs slower than Reter, Randy and you, to prove I have equal skills.
I hope I can lap Sebring under 2:27s one of these days.

If my lowly Carrera S will do a 2:28 and 29's with me driving in good weather or a 30 in hot weather or 2:26 with Chris Hall driving on Rennlist's- "Offical Most Hated Tire" your Sud can easily do a lot faster than a 27.

The Nurburgring 7:32 secs lap for the RS 3.8 can be compared to a Sebring lap where the bone stock car could do a 2:20 (with a Pro driver on the stock tires, Mancation boys can't do it). The 7 secs difference between the Scuderia and Beetle at the Ring, is down to 2 secs at Sebring, I need a 2:22 on the stock Fiat tires.
The lowly Carrera S 9A1 PDK is not that slow. It was tested on the 997 GT3 MPSC tires and ran a 7:50 at the Ring. On Pirelli Corsa the 996 GT3 lapped in 7:49 years ago. Essentially the lowly 997.2 S is as fast as the 996 GT3.
At Sebring with MPSC tires the 997.2 S PDK should be 5 secs slower than the RS 3.8 on the same tires, somewhere in the 2:25s with a Pro-Driver, and probably a 2:24 on fresh R888 or shaved RA-1.

Actually, I need to drive even faster to call it even with the cheater Aero Beetles and the Mancation boys.

No excuses.
2:199 was post all mods and post coaching at Sebring on a cold morning on good pads and tires..
I probably will never do it again, but I am getting better at blocking
The car will be the same this year. Come on down, you can do a 2:19!
