Default F/S - testing interest

Hopefully I will not offend any one. I am generally in the 911 and 928 areas. My current id, does not show my history with Rennlist - but I go way back with my original id....anyway I have a buddy who may be selling a 2002 GT2 with less than 7K miles.....$82,900....here is a pic I shot today.

If this is a no, no. Sorry. -Rob

I'm actually interested in what these GT2s are going for if others knowledgeable would give their opinion. If I had to guess, I would think the price is too optimistic given what much newer GT3s are going for but what do I know - my guess would be $70k - am I crazy?

I see the mileage as a big factor...I know service is up to date, dealer only. GT3 is a much different car in my mind and understanding. I would love to hear more input. Thanks!

One owner, CA car. All records, books, etc. No track time, no nothing. Just light driving duty on limited basis. Driven a bit more when first bought and then not so much for the past year or two. Just at Porsche in CA, prior to coming to Texas. Original owner has an 89 Speedster with less than 1000 miles! He will not give up that car, but he is hurting a bit and my buddy acquired the car through some connections. The seller is a specialty car broker in the Highland Park area of Dallas. Mainly consignment cars. He knows I am a Porsche nut, but not in my price range. Funny how unique cars with low mileage end up on the market place. I guess it is who you know sometimes....That is what I know.

Sorry it is in the wrong spot. I just typed GT2/GT3 and came here within Rennlist. Where should it go?
