Although it still has a clutch pedal.

BTW I like the fact that the emblem on the bonnet is a sticker.

A lot of details in those photos and the car on track is not the same as the one in the glamour shots.
Looks like an easy change to make the 3.8 RS run this aero:
* front and rear bumper covers
* chin splitter, rear diffuser
* mirrors
* bolt on flares
* uprights and wing

Anybody know the part numbers?

How about the part numbers for those brake rotors ...

Talking Porsche 911 GT3 R 4.0-litre...

Porsche 911 GT3 R prepared by Falken Motorsports...

...perhaps a little inspiration for the 4.0-litre 911 GT3 RS(R) 500bhp road racer?

I thought we were going to here about this today.
Or was that optimistic.

New Rumors have stated that nothing is happening today. Moved to late April.
Other rumors have stated no news till late summer.

When it happens, I hope it looks like the GT3 R in the video.

All those rumors were just crap from the rumor mill machine. Just to increase hype and to make most of must with more money than brains to buy into a supposed limited edition car they will build too many of in the first place. Remember everyone paying a premium for an 3.2RS at first, this may happen with this 4.0L too.

Please stay tuned in for next week's episode. Same bat time same bat channel!

Not much of any use.
Some people say end of April.
Some people say September.
Some people say the moon is made of cheese.
At this moment I am more likely to believe the last statement.

several weeks ago I received an email directly from Porsche AG stating that they would let me know specs on car when press censorship on new LE comes off the end of April 2011. So you can take that for what it's worth. I have received no frther correspondence to indicate that the timing has changed, but of course that is always possible.
