Epic Chris Harris Ferrari Rant

WOW
He does not say that he races for Porsche and just bought a GT3.
He's a very likable guy in his pieces and film and I personally believe him fully and admire him for getting permanently uninvited by Ferrari.
Now Ferrari will have to throw him under the bus stating he works/races for Porsche to gain credibility back.....
I'm just an irrelevant Limey who doesn't really matter. But I've had enough of concealing what goes on, to the point that I no longer want to be a Ferrari owner, a de-facto member of its bull****-control-edifice. I sold my 575 before Christmas. As pathetic protests go, you have to agree it's high quality.
Jesus, this is now sounding like a properly depressing rant. I'll leave it there. Just remember all this stuff then next time you read a magazine group test with a prancing stallion in it.

i knew something was wrong with harris when he went out and bought an m3. he then bought a 512tr, then the 575. must have been going through a 'stage'.
glad to hear he is resoundingly back to his normal self.
welcome back, chris harris.

It's not like what he said is any sort of revelation.
Anyone with half a brain would guess that that's how Ferrari operates. Sure, the details and the extent of their test tweaking may be unknown but their general attitude always showed.
They made it look like owning a Ferrari is some sort of extreme privilege and that anyone short of Michael Schumacher is not worthy. Just having the cash to buy one didn't qualify.
And we also kept reading how real world Ferrari's always deviated from the spec sheet.
They do make great cars that sound great and look pretty. But they want everyone to believe that their feces don't smell. They do just like everyone else's and covering that up doesn't work anymore in the age of total information availability.

Wake up and take a look at F1. The cheating, the lies, the team orders, the posturing with the FIA, the arrogance of Alonso, it stinks.
Who would want to buy something with their brand on it? Give me Preuninger any day, a beacon of integrity and builder of honest cars in a sea of spin

I would say i am a little more shocked that there is this much effort put in by Ferrari. Getting Hot press vehicles is no surprise. Tuning for a specific track is somewhat surprising but to say a journalist can't test any Ferrari owners car just goes to show how "prepped" their press cars are and the lack of faith they have in regular off the line cars.
Truly a disappointment in my mind and kudos to Chris Harris for telling Ferrari to vaffanculo

I just re-read it.
Chris Harris is a cowboy and my hero; Even if he might or mght not be onthe Porsche payroll.
I have to wonder though; Did the Top Gear guys really put up that kind of Ferrari **** when it beat the GT3RS at VIR when Hammy almost wrecked it when he spun of into the S-es?
Customer GT2RS VS F458 anyone??
Well said
