997.2 Seat Removal DIY
Here I'll explain in detail how to remove the carbon bucket seats from a 997.2 GT3 (this applies to any 997 and is nearly identical for all types of seats. Only the wiring harness and seat belt mounting may be different).
Tools You'll Need:
10mm wrench
small plastic spudger (non-marring wedge tool)
17mm hex socket
E12 Torx socket
small screwdriver
furniture pad and/or towels (to protect car)
Let's get started!
First, start by insuring the car is turned off, the key is out and the parking brake is on. Put it in 2nd gear for added safety. Then we need to disconnect the battery.

I hope you cleared your calender for the next 72 hours to a month. It's not really installed until I see a youtube posted with synced data/film including RPM..
