Yes, simple, elegant and SAFE. As far as going higher, maybe a two-stage jacking procedure, where an extension (just a round "tube") could be placed on top the the base for an extra 6 inch or so... (extra ace$$ory $ales opportunity)

Have you tested to failure? How heavy until the legs start to spread - across the opening?

Group buy... to increase visibility at tracks around North America.

Thanks for the response John. As hard as I try, I can see no downside.

Good luck with the business.

anyone know if these work with an ac jack model dk13hlq?

just by eyeballing it, the jack arm looks like it would be a tight fit at best

I have not measured yet but thought I would ask before I got inspired :-)

AC's web site does not identify the width of the front wheels, outside width. If that measurement is less than 11.75"

Then you should be ok. I'm double checking other measurements that are supplied from the office tomorrow. Chuck

AC does not publish the dimensions of the Jack pad or the Jack Arm width. Both are critical for the smooth operation of this product. I don't think that Jack pad will be an issue, however the Jack arm should be 5 1/2 inches or less in width for the smoothest operation. If the AC arm is 6 inches wide, I'm afraid this stand will not accommodate it at this time. Please let me know what you learn when you measure it.

I saw these at the Porsche Parade this summer and bought two pairs. They are fantastic and easy to use. Also, You only need to drive on a 2 x 8 at one wheel location if you have a GT3 nor similar LOW ride height car. Once one corner is jackstanded, getting the jack + frisbee under the other wheels is no longer an issue. ( I jack front wheels first)

That was enough for a HFT 1.5 ton aluminum jack on some lowered cars.
You should do a photo montage of the pour/polish of my set of stands

Default AC Jack model DK13HLQ

So... I took some crappy iphone pics this morning on the way out the door... while the quality is not that great, I think they are sufficient for my needs here.

Also, I can do the math so I am posting these here for the benefit of the manufacturer and distributor and any other RLers that were curious about using this jack with these jack stands.

so... overall picture of the jack

Per the instructions on the IMGT3 website
http://www.imgt3performance.com/User...structions.pdf

The jack plate must be 3-5 inches in diameter
here is a pic of the jack plate base - which will work... I neglected to measure the actual jack plate pad that you can see in the picture above, but I think it is alright.

The jack base should be 11.75 inches or less - so we are good

The jack lift arm should be 5.5 inches or less -- we are not good

as you can see the jack arm is the limiting factor 5.625" when the instructions detail 5.5 or less...

It is very close -- close enough that a grind in the right spot might "make it work" but I am not too keen on grinding the jack stands or the jack at this point.

So -- is it close enough that it will work without modification?

In any event, I hope this has been helpful.
