Also, make sure you're on a flat surface and that your front wheels are free to move since when you jack up the back end front wheels will need to move / rotate back a bit. A quick opinion about stability, I'd suggest the car is more stable up on 4 fixed points vs 2 fixed points and two rolling points. A pair of ESCO 3-Ton jack stands are a nice compliment to the Jackpoint jack stands.

I have a pair and use them often. They stack easily for storage. Don’t hesitate on ordering them.
