You 'll only have to pay shipping (about 20usd) for US or Europe.

Brand new 6x OEM Bosch Y5DDC part number 999 170 129 90
factory part for all 997GT3 mk1 and mk2 including RSs.

Weird.. cause I would have thought the 996RS has the same head as regular GT3..

Nope I thought so too but I was wrong. Actually at one point I was pretty sure my previous workshop had install them.. : )

All GT3 from 996RS including cups from 2006 and on have the thinner Y5DDC only 996GT3 MK1 and MK2 had the fatter 14FR 6LDU .

Looks like there's more difference between the 6GT3 and RS than that meet the eyes..

Interesting to find that Porsche claims the same power rating for the RS.. !

Some differences yes, main ones LWFW which helps accelaration a bit and the use of ramair deck lid scoop that gave according to Porsche 10hp over some klm.

Otherwise on an engine dyno the output was same..I have seen dynos from both.

What a great car though..
