I am looking at importing from the USA into Canada a used 2011 GT3RS and was wondering if the USA cars have DRLs as a standard kit these days?

Difference Engine

If they're not standard on US cars, the DRLs only need to be activated. It involves plugging the car into the diagnostic computers at the dealer and turning them on. When I was selling Porsches, we deactivated the DRLS quite often for customers using the same method. Plug the vehicle into the computer, de-select the DRLs.

DRLs (on my 2011 RS) can be selected on through the settings menu in the car... no need to go to the dealer.
