Steel rotor options for 997.1 GT3 with PCCBs

Over the past few days I have been doing some research.....
Brembo or Stop Tech; these are the only options I can find
If you buy Brembo front and rear replacement rotors it is close to $4500. When the rotors wear you can reuse the hat, so that will cost you $1,000 per axle plus new hardware...hardware 80 per rotor (I am rounding these nmbers off for simplistic terms)
If you buy stoptech front and rear rotors it is under $3,000. When the rotors wear you can reuse the hat, so that will cost you $400 per axle including hardware.
Talking to some people who have used Stop Tech and GMG; they say life of the rotor is about the same. With this in mind I would probably go with Stop Tech.
Stoptech and Brembo need a modified pad to run on their rotors, you can buy the pad already modified from some distributors. Pads budget $500 per axle.
An option I am REALLY considering is taking rotors and calipers off my car......Buying Stop Tech Trophy Big Brake Kit. Rotor / pad cost is same as above......but you can remove the rear pads without taking off the caliper.....NO MORE CALIPER BOLT ISSUES. To add new calipers to Stop Tech rotors and pads woudl be $2,500. One of teh Euopean Car Magazines has a great artiple about this kit.
Does anone have feedback on Stop Tech big brake kits?

GiroDisc is another alternative.
We are the Canadian distributor for GiroDisc and after months of research we are launching the PCCB replacement setup with Pagid 29s.

I'm not trying to be a buzz-kill here, but I've already researched Girodisc as a replacement for the 997.1 GT3 with PCCBs. After being told by a reseller the same thing that was posted above, I pursued the purchase of set of for myself.
This ultimately led to the factory Girodisc rep. sending the following email on Oct. 25th, 2010:
The 997.1 PCCB will have to wait until a car rolls through our R&D Door. That said it may be a while.

Sorry for the late reply - our first 4 sets for Canada are being delivered this week unless UPS screws it up... I know there is a lot of talk out there but we have been working closely with RSS & GiroDisc.
We will put a set on a black 2010 GT3 for test fitting and photo shoot.

Correct me if I'm wrong please....but just because it fits a 2010 997.2 GT3 doesn't necessarily mean it'll fit the 997.1 GT3 with PCCBs? I believe that's what the factory rep was telling us when he sent the email stating they needed a 997.1 GT3 for some R&D.
