Hello all,
Just got my new monster last week. Will post later some details, but all I can say is thank you to this forum for all your help throughout the process.
Quick question though:?
The 2010's came with Michelin SPort Cups and my 2011 has the Pirelli Pzero Corsa. Anyone know why they made the change?
Thanks again,

There are a number of us with 2010s that came with the Corsas and you will find that they are great tires, especially in the rain. I'm up to about 5700 miles on mine but only three short track events :-(

I got my 2011 GT3 two weeks ago, it came is Sport Cups. 4 Track days on them now, they might have one more day left; probably not.
I am going to replace with PS2's for the street and run Hoosiers next season on a second set of wheels for the track.
At the price of Sport Cups, I think the Hoosiers will be "cheaper"

They are great tires , My Fronts survived 26,000 kilomters with about 6 track days until i changed them...
Alothugh the cups have better grip and turn in than the Corsa's , But the Corsa's last longer and better in the wet

I agree, the MPSC are poor wet tire, I drove home from a AX event in the pouring rain, not much fun for the 50 minute drive home.

Hi Polarporsche,
Which Forgeline did you select? Can you give a rough idea of price? What size tire will you run? I assume there are no clearance issues with Steel brakes?
Thanks!

But for my second set the fronts are ready to be replaced. Did a lot less miles, but a lot more trackdays

The only issue is that they are VERY HARD to get over here at the moment. Especially rear tyres, those are a disaster. No idea why.

I believe you can pick them up for around $4k US. perhaps a little cheaper, Forgeline has a sale on at the moment.
Hoosier R6 for HPDE
Front: 245/35ZR18
Rear: 315/30ZR18
Nitto NT01 for Autocross
Front: 235/40ZR18
Rear: 315/30ZR18
Here is a decent picture of the wheels on the car.

You are lucky. The P0 Corsa System tire is superior to the Michelin in every respect especially in the wet!

They aré slower than MPSC at the track but make a lot more sense as dual purpose tires on a street car. Also they don't seem to heat cycle fast as the MPSC.
