Harry, how do I get segment times?

For some reason, after downloading track info for Sebring and Watkins Glen, my theoretical best lap is always slower than my actual best lap (because the laps show up as one segment rather than multiple segments).

Thanks

Harry,

Why is the overlay "bouncing around"?

I would also like to know how to get segment times. Or more precisely, how to add splits to obtain more sector times. The POIs from one track i go to has only one split, giving only two sector times.

Is anyone else having problems with the new and "improved" version of HLT? A few weeks ago a bunch of us at the track couldn't get the new version to work -- it just froze. I deleted HLT, and re-loaded the application. That seemed to fix this issue. Now, however, I don't get video that corresponds to my recorded lap times. When I poked around I did find 8 minutes of recorded video embedded in HLT (but it doesn't show up in my Photos (camera roll) on my iPhone 4). And I can't do an overlay (file corrupted, etc.). Others at the track (a couple of days ago) had similar problems. The "old" version worked so well and was so easy to use . . . . Any advice appreciated.

Eventually you'll come to the same conclusion I did after fiddling around with HLT. It's a great gadget for the price, but if you want something fully functional, accurate, reliable, hassle free, and versatile: Get a dedicated laptimer. I went with the AiM Solo DL and haven't looked back since.

It was great for a year or two. Then, like you, I got a dedicated unit. Bought the Motec CDL3
