Every mod (esp. something like roll cage) is an extra hassle during import - the inspector must be convinced that both the part and the install is EU compliant and has documentation. I had big hassles with this in the past, and would get a roll cage put in locally.
I don't think that a car company can tell you what you can/can't do with your own property. The 1 yr no-export rule is Porsche sales policy to protect euro dealer markups.
I will have to check on the warranty issue. My point before was that the warranty has market value. Less warranty means less value.
Thanks for the feedback... no more builds means choosing from existing inventory.

Yes I am looking to sell the car now, I have not been using the RS (too much travel this year) and yes the front lip and side sills are wrapped in 3M "dry carbon" film.
