CL Nut Lube/Maintenance

I followed the new TSB for lube and torque of GT3.2 CL nuts yesterday. It wasn't as bad as I thought. Only took a couple of hours, but that included cleaning the wheel wells, and checking suspension components and brakes while I was at it.
There is a press fit circlip that holds the conical washer in the nut assembly. You have to rotate the washer until you can see the gap of the circlip, then use a small screwdriver to pop out the washer. There seemed to be a decent amount of lube inside the washer/nut interface, however the threads of the nut needed to be lubed. I have had the wheels on and off several times though.
Anyway, glad i took the time to do the maintenance and apply the new torque settings. The 444 lb/ft tightening wasn't any more difficult than the 377 lb/ft spec. I guess in for a penny in for a pound when you are at those values.

Thanks for posting ![thumbup](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/thumbup.gif)
If you accidentally drop the nut it falls apart also and it just clicks together once you push the wire ring (Clip?) in. I just ordered an extra nut and center cap as backup.
Where do I order a tube of that paste?
I guess I better pre-grease it, so I have it ready to go.

You can order the paste through your dealer. PN# 000.043.020.00. It is/was in stock in Atlanta so I had it in 2 days.
What I found interesting was that the dealer didn't have it on hand. I was speaking with the mechanic about while I was there and he had the parts department order a tube for the shop.
