Well, the Penske dealership in Scottsdale continues to amaze me. As reported here by rsman, Tonny G and others, they did have a brand new MY'11 Black Grey/Gold RS in the lot and apparently switched the gold parts out of that car into the green RS. And the red bits from the green car went to the Black Grey RS instead. They still had to re-paint the front spoiler's 'lips' on each car to match the new accents. And they removed the gold decals from the Black Grey RS and did not replaced them with red decals.
But what is shocking to me is that they have inadvertently LEFT some photos of the Black Grey RS when it had the GOLD accents on their current Ebay ad (excuse me, I meant auction!). Look at all the photos (before they change them) and you will see what I am talking about. They apparently want their potential customers to be witness to their talent at ordering the wrong colors for their RS's and then, Houdini-like, make transformations to them in the back of their shop! Do they think that this 'creativity' is what a Porsche gt3 RS customer willing to spend $155K/$163K is looking for?
Dealers, what would we do without them? No, you don't need to answer that. z356
