Default RS.2 seems much faster than RS.1

I finished the first leg of my trip down to italy with the RS. I caught up to a .1 RS on the Autobahn heading south towards Munich. We had a clear stretch of road so we both put the hammer down. I approached quite easily in 5th and 6th gears. I swapped spots with him and could pull away without much trouble. We went back and forth a few times and had a good time. I'm quite surprised at the difference. The car just pulls and pulls. Is the speedo off? I hit 300kph without a problem and the car just wanted to go more. i just love this car and having a blast with it! best part is a police car moved over for us so we could do a high speed run. try that in the US!

Ask Lewis Hamilton if he think they would allow that in Australia???

You gotta love the European way!!

Back to the RS.1 V RS.2.

No doubt the extra HP and Gear ratio would alittle.

However when talking of weight it would be important to know if the other had a passenger, luggage etc....

Because according to the stats these cars are still quite similar versus say a GT2 RS and GT3 RS.2

it is not a "night" and "day " difference.

gearing alone gives it a different feel.

0-100mph-0 would be a way gauge the new power and gearing.

a 997.1 with gearing and exhaust/tuning make the 997.2 not exactly "night" and "day" feeling.......

Night and Day. That is a massive difference.

Dark and Light. This is a massive difference.

GT2 RS and GT3 RS.2. As is this.

Did you say anything else? Just that thought alone put me into a daydream.

I agree that this is an awesome difference between the 2 having driven both of them.

However, I was more referring to the term night and day. Which I believe to be a 100% from one or the other.

And I don't think that you could ever say that rs.2 is 100% better than an rs.1.
