Car is getting set up for next season and I want to start fresh. I have a friend who is running -3f, -2.25R on a regular 997.2 GT3 and he thinks the car feels great. Will likely be using some Hoosiers and some Pirelli Corsa/MPSC/Trofeo. So what do you think?
Not a dead-thread. Track season cometh.

I'm still interested to know Bob Rouleau's settings (especially front and rear toe) so I can go to this place I know and do my own alignment using their gee whiz laser alignment rack.

I'm reposting but Hoosiers worked perfect on my car:

10mm lowered
Zero toe front and 2mm each side rear
-2.5F and -2.5R.

^ Trak, what size Hoosiers are u running? I assume ur talking about R6's? I'm late to the Gen2 game and only took delivery last week... Have yet to try the new toy on track. Stock comes with MPSC+ which I thought was so-so with a v narrow optimal temp range...

Just when I got the car; I had some fronts left over from the Gt3, so I bought 2 rears that I corded in 3 days..
First 2 were breaking in the car, just rinning 2:23"s Then the sway bar bracket broke, but I did not know it, so still 2:23's. It was a day of hope for Erik.

Guys after experimentation here what worked for me last season using Hoosier DOT slicks.

Front Camber - 2.8 deg
Toe 2 mins per side (toe in)
Caster 8.5 deg

Rear Camber - 2.6 deg
Toe 12 mins per side

Best,

I'm the guy who ran 3.0 F, 2.25 back. The fronts wore perfectly even, the rears wore the outside a bit, so we are going to increase the rear to about 2.4-2.5.

6 track days on the OEM Sport Cups, fronts corded in the middle, rears on the outside. Pretty abrasive track (NJMP).

Car did feel good though John....

Best,
Thanks. How did you get 2.8 out of the front -- rotated the hats?
Ride height front/rear?
How are the ceramic rotors holding up?
: )
