Anyone see the EVO Magazine LotusExige go up in flames? Looks like the driver tried to save it to the pits but then ended up getting a bit hot in the cockpit and had to bail as the car was coming to a slow roll.

Just a random thought. Having been to the ADAC 24 Stunden at the Nuerburgring many times since 2002 I would honestly say IMO that it is truly one of the best racing events to attend. LeMans has it's fame but it doesnt compare to the pure mass of the field the 'Ring carries nor the nutty fans that line the entire circuit. Ah how I miss the fatherland!

According to Olaf Manthey: in front of their car a golf crashed and when it shot back it hit the Manthey. damage front and back left including axle...they will try to repair.
