Looks (and priced) like something that belongs in a F22 Raptor. ;-)
Thanks for the unboxing event.
Very cool

As Tony mentioned from the article, no problem. Any good modern charger is good. I use the CTEK charger (which Porsche brands for their part) http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=bl_sr_au...n=CTEK%20Power

No, for the smaller internal resistance. The electrons are less stressed and therefore support faster lap times....

Are you kidding??? OF COURSE for the weight savings!

You're welcome!

I would love to give feedback, if Porsche would only release my poor car from port hold...

At $45 a pound, it is the cheapest weight-loss diet you will ever find for a GT3!

Or any car that's already been on the Atkns diet.

Of course, the cheapest pounds to remove ... can actually be removed by the Atkins diet ...

nonesense.
try my diet.
donuts in morning. 3-4 pieces
whatever you want for lunch followed by cake
whatever you want for dinner but precede it with sweets, then follow dinner with 1/2 pint of ice cream.

it worked for me all these years.

So...I asked my dealer what it would cost and the quote was over $3000 which I thought
was NUTS. I just don't get it. Did u order directly? Could u please PM place I could order
this from for my '10 GT3 RS.

Thanx,

Savy,

You should come down and do some events with us in So Cal!

Will you be at Laguna In August with POC?

Like many things Porsche, if you try to order it after the fact and not in the initial build spec, it will cost you more. I ordered mine in the build spec hence the lower price. Go look at the configurator and you will see what I mean.

Why not try one of the couple of forum dealers that are frequently discussed? Suncoast Porsche is always super competitive on prices and I do a lot of business with them.

But usually if you order it with the initial build, things are cheaper because you don't get the standard equipment.. (say the seats.. if you spec out the GT2 seats, then you don't get the standard seats..) So in the case of battery, since you get both, I'd guess the additional cost should be similar for people who order separately..

Maybe Porsche doesn't think like that.. ha ha!

I have a boxster spyder on order. I ordered the Lithium battery at $1700 with the car, but am going to use it in my RS. It is my understanding that if the battery is ordered separate from a car order, the price is substantially higher, I thought around $2400.

That is true, except with the Lithium battery, I am near certain they provide you with both.

I would love to, but the drive is a killer. I AM running next weekend at Spring Mountain with San Diego PCA (thank you thusly for the heads-up and all the assistance!), SM again May 15-16 (Speedventures), and Buttonwillow May 22-23 with Golden Gate PCA, you should come to those and we can meet? Spring Mountain is an awesome track if you haven't been.

Also LS May31/June 1 with PCA/Trackmasters and Hooked on Driving. Everybody has said how great LS is so I have to go try it!

Can I run with POC with no problem? If so I should come there in Aug?
