Monticello Motorclub - Deman Boxster + '10 RS + Lotus Exige S
Took out my Boxster E Class Cup Car built by Deman Motorsports,
Lotus Exige S built by Automotive Restorations and my 2010 GT3
RS. The track was cold.
I drove the Boxster for the first time since I crashed up there last
year. Rick Deman did a fantastic job of getting the car back up to
spec. Since it was the first time I drove the car since the crash, I
really babied it. Overall, it felt great.
Also took out the '10 GT3 RS. Kept revs under 6500 and still was able
to hit around 144+ on the back long straight. The car is a monster. I
did not turn off TC/SC as I'm still getting a feel for the car.
The Lotus that was heavily modified since last June was so great to
drive. It was so much fun that I did not even realize that I was
low on fuel and had to be towed back. LOL.

The Lotus as spec'd costed $68,000. I bought it on ebay for $34,000. Got lucky.
Sony hired a nyc artist called Eric Haze to paint on the car and when sold the
money went to support city schools. I got the car, put some miles on it...then
removed the roof, engine hatch, center console, door panels, door sills, wing
and added CF instead. Changed the intercooler, pulley, airbox, exhaust, fuel pump,
injectors, light battery, and did an ecu tune. the lotus is faster than the RS off the
block but obviously the RS wins out later.
The Boxster E Class Cup Car is a spec car for SCCA/PCA racing. I don't know what
the exact specs for the series are (u can look it up). Rick Deman's boxster mod
is fantastic. We bought a used boxster and then converted it. Unforunately I
crashed it last year and now its been revived and drives fantastic. It is not road legal.
The RS is an absolute beast on the track. I was hitting around 144+ on the back
straight and did not even have to push hard. In any case, the car has not even
broken in...have about 850 miles on it. Will do first service (oil change) around
1200 and then can write more about it.

Thanks for sharing pics of your toys and Monticello is an awesome track. I saw your F-car at the PCA Weschester event a couple of weeks ago...beautiful.
