I imagine you can barely avoid that happening on every on-ramp between San Luis Obispo and Sears Point ... : )
As for that video, I can't say I like Chris Harris all that much, but he's carved out a helluva day job for himself! And while I'm still dreaming of taking a pretty stock 911 street car to a Targa, he's got a co-driver seat in a 2010 RS factory prepped for Mr Walter Rohrl as the main steerer ... you have to tip your hat to that!

Here's a PH thread on the Porsche factory RS campaigning the Nurburgring 24hr with Walter Rohrl.

(note: if you really want a snowflake's chance of escaping a cabin fire ... remove all the flammable fabrics thusly ... : )

Favorite RS pic so far:
Seems to me Porsche should have a silver hood ornament in a plastic sticker and they should have the recessed, flat safety latches for the front-trunk and the engine deck-lid cover.
Are those the "lightweight" headlights? Why not leave the cap on the recovery hook hole once they've cut a slot for the hinged hook part?

The main reason I sold my PSC N1 tires and put on some TBD cheap hard rain tire.....
In regards to the above pic; I'm jealous of you guys.. I drove LA to carmel last summer, just wonderful.
Here we just have flat, square intersections and on and off ramps, I can live anywhere with my work, the only problem is the extra zero added to the cost of livining Carmel VS Delray Beach ;-)
I drove by some wineries and and I see a sign Laguna Seca, my wife is still not amused by the treshold braking to make the turn
I guess we do have Sebring, Daytona, Homestead, Roebling Road, road Atlanta and VIR within 2-10 hours driving..........
