My car was completed 2/12/2010 and is not scheduled to arrive in Baltimore until 3/24/2010. I cannot believe it takes this long. I thought I might have it before the end of the month, but base on your experience probably not! They are cutting into our track season. Looks like break-in period will have to be accelerated a bit. Perhaps some late night cruises.

Mine has been in Halifax for three weeks or more. Cars are not being released. Some sort of certification paperwork screw-up, not sure if it is emissions or something else.

Alll-rightee...

Jim at Intercity is having the RS picked-up at port today, should be at Porsche N Olmsted for all of about 1-2 hours tomorrow (PDI/Undress), then loaded back on the truck to Reno, delivering Monday if all goes to plan.

Thanks to Jim at Intercity Lines Inc for personal attention and accepting the challenge! (no pressure Jim! )

Thanks to Chris Sanner/Chad Lozon at Porsche N Olmsted for even more personal attention! :-) haha...

So- Rennline FE mount, GMG RSR bar and Sparco harnesses will go in Tuesday, along with corner balance, alignment check and nitrogen tire fill (Porsche Reno- excellent service dept, Thanks Jess and Dolf!).

Then... Wednesday I install the Race-Keeper data/video system.

Then... Fri/Sat/Sun Golden Gate PCA DE at Thunderhill to break it in on the track

Whew!

John! Sorry friend! Plans changed due to Porsche's port hold and push back of delivery/prep schedule I am driving from Reno to T-Hill on Thursday afternoon. What is the matter with your priorities? Postpone the flight!

Thanks Tim! You should have yours very soon! Hang loose brother!

Bra- I read the forum comments, and see cars with and without the bra. Personally I hate the way it looks. The "line". The lack of sheen. The risk of RAZOR CUTS in my paint. And, my tracked C4S has no rock-rash to speak of. So as of now I am going bra-less.

Alignment- Going to run laps and examine tread wear pattern to determine what to do with alignment. '10 RS is a new set-up vs 07-08, wider track, different hubs, bigger tires, raised rear roll center/parallel roll axis, much more aero, so all anyone can do as of right now is guess at an alignment.

It may not need the traditional negative camber. Stock, it certainly has a lot less rear camber compared to the .1 gen. Better to adjust based upon my tire wear is my thought. My local Porsche dealer is great and has a super sharp tech who I will work with on this.

i may go bra less as well
bring a pyrometer, more accurate than tire wear pattern.
