you did well - there are a few advertised at sub $110k and not moving

switchcars rs are sitting at 109 and 105, a nice orange one just hit 6speed at $107 for a "quick sale" and it remains available...

the only one that I know of that sold quickly... at $95k is this one
http://www.luxury4play.com/autos-aut...nge-gt3rs.html

strangely it seems orange cars are the largest pool of available colors

$133k buys a brand new 2010 GT3 RS, the base car already has great brakes, seats, PDEM, etc. From all of my friends getting a 2010 RS, no one is paying over MSRP.

The over-MSRP allocations of 2010 GT3 RS are dealers trying to push a market that does not exist. We are not in 2007 or 2008 anymore, this is 2010. Shop around to see what kind of new car is selling over MSRP.

One thing is dealers asking $10k, $25k, $50k over MSRP for a 2010 GT3 RS, another thing is those cars actually selling.

I see no reason to justify $110k for a 3 years old car that is radically different and inferior in performance compared to a brand new 2010 RS, when the extra $20k buy you 3 more years of warranty (a $5k/year value in my Porsche perception, $10k/year in my Ferrari perception), and a new car not an used one, this is before comparing all the upgrades in the 2010 RS.

68% of the 413 sold in the USA are listed in the registry

2007 USA:197 total = 41 black, 19 silver, 79 orange, 21 green, 37 white
2008 USA: 85 total = 19 black, 5 silver, 27 orange, 16 green, 18 white
282 total = 60 black, 24 silver, 106 orange, 37 green, 55 white

go ahead and laugh yourself silly since I am so funny to you...
who said I want a "scream'n" deal?
I want a fair deal.

I want to pay market pricing for vehicles that are actually selling... like the 1800 mile one owner white/full leather/PCCBs/NAV car that sold in CA last week for 110... like the orange one that sold in CA a few weeks ago for $95K with PCCBS and less than 10K miles...

I did not start this thread to really debate pricing or provide humor to someone that is basically saying "I am not insulting you, but I am insulting people just like you"

If anyone knows of a car that is for sale and not listed in the usual spots, let me know or let the seller know I am looking.

Thank you

PJS, have you seen the two 2007 GT3 RS cars listed in the classified section here on RL? One is White ($105,950) and the other is Orange ($109,950).

do you have a favorite color? I have owned both black and orange and I think i actually preferred the orange! There really isn't a bad color...I will say the motor in my black car seemed stronger than the orange car.

PJ Congrats on the sale on Good Luck on the purchase

My only thought on all the cars sitting at certain numbers is simple. The buyers are gone. Not to say they are asking too much just there's really no one out there looking. I wouldn't hold my breathe on tons of people dropping these cars a lot lower. Some people will pay over msrp on the new RS and these Old beaters as some allude (inferior i think was the word) will still hold a certain value above any normal gt3 and they look tons better. 2" wider seems like 10" to me imho A friend stopped by today in his 2010 gt3 and the first thing he said about my old RS was omg the width difference is huge.

Can't wait to have another RS up in our neck of the woods and wish you the best in your new car purchase. Wish it were different than white tho

the prices are dropping... lowest one of 10 or so offered to me via PM with PCCB was/is $107 obo...
another was/is 3900 miles, full leather, pccb... 114 obo...
A lot of orange ones available... the only green one available that I can find is at sloancars.com
A few white ones that I have my eye on...
there is black local one that I have yet to see but I hear that it is not spec'd well
I think I will wait until the new one arrives and see what happens...

Stupid Question - are or can 997.1 RS's be CPOed? Seems most are private party sales and no mention of CPO.
