It's available now for $5200. Not cheap, but not too far off of the charge for grey.

Accents also, or still just red and gold?

At the risk of sounding like a doubting Thomas, has this been officially confirmed by PCNA?

Confirmed by the zone rep. Is that ok?

Well, it should show up on the Configurator at some point, if it is true. I am a little skeptical because the Porsche reps at the L.A. Auto show (from Germany) were not aware of it on Saturday and my dealer has not been able to confirm it today.

You bet... not doubting you; just looking for confirmation. Believe me, you have made my day if it is in fact true!

If you have to pay over 5k, I think I'd go with something a bit rarer than a commonly offered color like basalt black. Definitely go with something more exotic…

Ask him to call his zone rep. My dealer was notified today after lunch...so it's pretty new news. He probably wouldn't know about it so soon, but he asked him every week about the black.

I haven't seen any RS's that are basalt yet. But, you have a good point. However, I don't want something so rare that I can't resell easily if something else comes along that I want.

Can anyone photoshop the basalt with the red??? Will it show up?
