It will be interesting to see the RS with the grey/gold combo, as the pic's you have of the cup look really cool and personally I would never thnk I'd want the gold as the accent color. I still also really like the distorted version of the cup color as well.

Rivera or Mexico Blue OR Viper Red PTS.

Something unique.

Black isn't unique.

it is just amazing that Porsche can charge that much extra for colors that are not exactly extraordinary. It's not like some special pearl or multi-stage paint

And interestingly enough, Porsche charges extra for the Aqua Blue metallic paint in Europe, but not here in the US...

GT3 RS Paint To Sample Availability And Deadlines
PAG has advised paint to sample (body color 98/99) is now available for the GT3 RS.

The deadline for March orders will be January 29, 2010.
The deadline for April orders will be March 5, 2010.
Color to sample orders for any prior production month need to be received by Friday, December 11, 2009.
My April build got moved to Feb once already. Kicked back to April when I made a subsequent change. That was about 2 weeks ago. Haven't checked it recently.

There's a good chance your Mar/Apr build could've been moved forward without you knowing it, thus restricting you to Dec 11 cut-off. Caveat emptor for those seriously considering PTS.

I'm just hoping I don't get locked down before seeing a real photo of Grey Black with White Gold option. Also still waiting to add CLA option (thicker wheel) - hopefully before a lock-down.

Thanks for posting! That pretty much confirms in my mind that the Cup car is Grey Black with White Gold.

I'd go with Aston Martin Fire Red or Ferrari "Scuderia Red"

both with white gold accents...

Red would be unique and cool. BUT, the accent colors will still be red. No options on those...red belts, red calipers, door pulls, dials, etc. I def want to stick with red accents. So, I need a color that will go with them.

Hmmm. The satin finish just isn't for me. I'm kinda old school and like shiny paint.

I've got until late Jan. to make a final decision. Gotta learn photoshop and play with it. (just bought it) But, still not like seeing the car in person.

Black may not be unique, but, judging from the response here, it may be very unique to the 10RS. Any way to tell how many are being built by color?
