"The other bonus is the mass amounts of spares offered by previous owners that track their cars. Wheel studs, nuts etc...
( I have two sets of pads and discs as spares!)"
the front disc looks awfully familiar ;-)
"The negitive would be things like the dust caps on the calipers that will soon need replacing as the extreme heat has got them wore out."
must be rad's doing.
when i had the car.... what dust cap, LOL....
extra wt.

Put the 5mm spacers in the front hubs. I think it has to do with the alignment in the car right now, as the 265 did not rub those hoses while I had the car, and as soon as I got it from Mooty, it got the 265 installed.
To be extra safe, make a sandwich of duct tape, aluminum foil, duct tape. Use an aluminum foil thick enough that hardly allows to be rounded around the hose, in the area of rubbing. Check for clearance underneath the car using different steering wheel positions, and with the front tires loaded. This should take 15 minutes per side.
Car looks all business.

i think you are right. It has to do with new height and alignment.
I will run the spacers up front until i install 18" track wheels with 245 front tires....

265's work fine with the stock or "race" alignment settings ... I've had both on two GT3's on street and track perhaps you've cranked in a lot more camber or changed caster? I'm pretty sure the front end of the GT3 and RS are the same. Spacers sound like no problem.

first, let me just say... ![bowdown](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/bowdown.gif)
What car(s) did you drive in previous Targa Newfoundlands?
I've watched the shows on SpeedTV for the 2007 and 2008
Targa Newfoundland. Were you driving a Porsche in those races as well?
I'll burn a DVD of the 2009 Targa and send it to you when they
broadcast it. Just try not to drive into that house on the corner that
someone crashes into every year. In 2008 two or three different cars
managed to find it.
