This thread was part of my introduction to Rennlist; I joined roughly at the same time.

Doing something like this has always been on my bucket list, but it's a sticky on there cause, even if I get to do it once, I'm sure I'll want to do it over and over again. Mancation 37?

Oldie but goodie.
2014 I should be shipping my car to Europe for a Mancation summer 2014.
Or e new one euro delivery but than you have to track prep it in Germany and that Meyer create import problems.

Plus it remains to be seen if they can fix the 991..

Would join you for Dijon, Spa, Nürburgring or Hockenheim if I have the time and would offer our garage (with lift etc.) for checking your car between the events if necessary.

I can also offer to help you finding some good events to run over here!

And of course I can provide some good sorts of beer to the group!

Either way you can't lose. A bucket list must.

Thanks send me an e-mail sometime: Peter@trakcar.com I keep a list based on this thread to make a Euro trip work.

Bucket list for sure! Who knows how much time one has and I have been yacking about it for years with the guys who have gone over like Larry Cable and many other Rennlisters in Germany, Belgium etc...

This year I give up DE till the winter at least for work, but I tell myself it is all to come back with a fury next year
Shipping 4.0 to Germany for 6 months and fly in and out every other week for track events sounds like the best possible way to make up for a lost summer :-)

I have access to storage with family and business in UK (Leeds), Holland (Belgium border) and Germany (Munich), we even have a van with a race car trailer I can use. Look forward to the European faces when I unload on 18" RA1's LOL. Otherwise I just do it all on stock wheels and Michelins..

Insurance is the mane issue, but I have been given a few contacts to pursue by fellow rennlisters when the time comes.

WOW, haven't been on Rennlist much lately and was shocked to see this thread listed towards the top! It was always great to hear that so many appreciated following that magical trip with my GT3. I often think of just how wonderful that whole vacation went and will certainly be hard to beat for me! Thanks for the kind words on it Peter! I was down at VIR for the David Murry event and was just poking around here on Rennlist.

Hope everybody is doind well!

It's in my calendar, but it has to coincide with work because that's all I do these days.
