2010 997 GT3 MKII Pictures With SharkWerks Exhaust installed in Germany
Hey fellas, you know it had to happen eh? This 2010 MKII 997 GT3 is one of the first cars to be delivered to a customer in Germany and along with his yellow MKI GT3 friend the pair set about getting our SharkWerks Exhaust bypass kit installed.
The two friends awaiting installation:
The whitey getting ready for surgery...
The bumper comes off...
Next the factory exhaust gets worked on...
In goes our replacement:
Securing everything down:
Shown here, the SharkWerks exhaust installed:
The Speed Yellow..
Also getting surgery at the track...
Our exhaust installed....
Comparing the two butts:
The two tails:
Ready to be driven... and hard:
Thanks to our European early-adopters, Tom & Andy!
I've got more pix (video in-bound) and info on our project page as well: http://sharkwerks.com/porsche/997-gt...n-germany.html
For more on our exhaust: http://www.sharkwerks.com/products.php?pid=153

Three Wheelin'
Could not agree more. The front end is too "soft" looking for me. I prefer the angularity of the MKI for its aggressive nature and the rear lights linearity are not in accord with the softness of the front end. Not really into the rear facia grill slits at the superior border. I'll take those wheels, though!...(they can keep the rice wing as well.)

Have to agree that I find the MK2 looking a little too soft compared to the MK1...

The new ones don't come with a warranty... They don't need it since they likely use the 996GT3 seal

I'm keeping my Mk-1 and sending it to Sharkwerks for some of Alex and James's "secret stuff"!! Stay tuned. I figure they will save me about $120K by not buying a Gen-2 RS which I will put in my tire fund!!!

Sounds like a plan... Since we don't have a Nurburgring or a Stig around here this means once our car is done you're the official driver and we're using your home track right
