Unhappy One less GT3RS

Not sure if I posted this... age is showing I guess...

Sent a couple of weeks back by a friend from PR. Don't know the owner so not sure if he is a member of Rennlist...

Wow, just look at that front tire, snapped the spokes right off. Inside doesn't look too bad, hopefully he came out alright. Too bad about the car tho.

That rear wing looks fine tho, someone find the owner and ****** it up.

Sorry, I have no story behind the photos...

All I could think was similar to those Parts Heaven ads... "I wonder if those seats would fit my 74 RSR project"

All joking aside, sad to see such a beauty ruined...

You can replace it with this one: http://web.me.com/wsna/Porsche_GT3_R...he_GT3_RS.html

I know, I know, it's a cheap plug.

I'm guessing that PR = Puerto Rico???
The local looks kinda iffy...scary to think what the track safety was like...not up to FIA standards I'm sure.

Hope the driver was OK!

Sad to see the car munched up

Wow!! That sucks!! Similar accident happened a couple of track days ago at the Dubai Autodrome: silver and orange RS folded in half. Driver walked away without a scratch. It is so sad to see these gorgeous machines destroyed...

Correct, Puerto Rico. Salinas, PR.

Salinas is based on an airport built by the US Army in 1940. In 1975 the first 1/4 mile dragstrip was opened, certified by the NHRA. Until 1982 it was rented to different promoters, but it closed from 1982-1984, when it was bought by the López family. Since then it has been used for motorsport. Sanctioned by the FIA – FISA – NACAM. It now has in addition a 1/8 mile dragstrip, a 1.2 mile and a 1.8 mile road circuit, and an oval go-kart track.

Look at the bright side ..........

1. Every time this happens, the remaining RSs just get a little bit more Rare

2. One less unqualified driver behind the wheel of an RS
