He does not return our private message. We've asked him repeatedly to contact us with any issues. Not one response except for this type of banter. As for him being banned on fchat, this was actually a decision made by the site owner, who looked into the details of his actions. The site owner made that decision, we did not ask or request him to be banned. We only asked that he would be objective and to look into this further with material that we provided for him.

Below are pictures of a precut clear bra on a F430 that we DID NOT INSTALL. This will show what a precut looks like.

Here would be PogueMoHone's F430, which as mentioned earlier all of our installations are documented. It shows very clearly that what we applied to his car are in fact, a custom application. Quite the contrary to his claims of applying precut. The only pieces that are precut are the mirrors and headlamps. Custom full hood, custom partial fenders, mirrors, lights, custom front bumper, custom full rockers, and a few other parts.

Personally, I think the car makers should wrap clearbra on every body panel at the factory. Many do something similar for shipping by using the white temporary film. This could be a new first for the Porsche factory.

That would cause warranty issues until the film is as durable or more than the paint. Nissan has self-healing paint, so that's a first step towards avoiding re-paints.

I'd rather see some durable surface coating that can be repaired like new by anyone. The plastic film may not be the ultimate solution because only a few people can do it right, just like a good paint job.

I have been a happy repeat customer of Premier. I had 2 vehicles done, 07 997TT and an 08 CTT and have been more than happy with their service and products.

A rock hit the front of the 997TT at hi speed and the clear bra saved my hood, I should think that an inferior product/install would not have taken the hit.

On a side note, I have my car detailed by a professional detailer every 6-8 weeks and he never has any issues with the clear bra. Again I would think an inferior product/install would not hold up to this.

I will go back to Premier in the future.

Hmmm....

My car has M3 on the front 1/3 hood and a small strip on the roof in front of the sunroof and mirrors, Seems like a nice custom job, the prvious owner did it.

I have about 20 track days. My other car (Mustang) is completey shot blasted, bumper, lights, hood, roof etc. So I know I do the damage on track.

Yet the clear bra is completely undamaged, no pits anywhere? The edges, about 1 mm are getting black because they are coming loose and the sides OEM is getting yellow, is that what you mean?

Not sure what my washer guy uses to get the black off, but he does scratch the film. He speaks no English so can't ask him.

Thanks,
Peter

Count me in as another happy repeat Premier customer.

They did a great job re-doing a botched clearbra job on my GT2 by its previous owner. But hey, that's what happens when you buy used.

My second car was done recently by Premier, custom full front wrap, hood, fenders, and it was no precut, the entire fender was wrapped with all edges tucked in, same with the hood.

As far as price goes, before Premier, I had Invisage do my Turbo, and the work was good, and no razor cuts. But, comparatively, Premier is still quite a few notches above them. And price wise? Premier really was not that much more than Invisage.

As far as go naked and keep respraying, well, that would negatively impact resale, not to mention my OCD mind of the car having been resprayed. And lastly, having been involved in the bodyshop business, a respray is best avoided if at all possible. They simply do not have the chemical capability that can come close to the factory in surface prepping.

This is an interesting topic and gets more interesting by the moment.

Firstly, some site sponsors want to play "victim" and presonalize the issue. I resent the implication of that and suggest that there might be some thing manipulative about that.

That Premier chose to personalize the issue and attempt to get me banned, threaten lawsuits through private lawsuits, etc. says more about their desperation and them (and need for new customers) than my focus on quality.

That is a red herring on their part!

My only objective is to ensure that Rennlisters get the best bang for the buck that they can (Sorry, but I am just built that way). I could could give Continental damn about perceived value. Just give me real value.

I spent $2K with Premier and was dissatisfied. I am not not demanding that they refund my money, or fix the problem (maybe I should?). But, I put it down to my own stupid decisions, and if the Rennlister is smart they will learn from my mistake(s).

This is about comparative value to the Rennlister and how much should be spent on a quality job. And a broader issue about how some Sponsors might try to manipulate the Rennnlisters (my pet peeve.)

You have seen photographs of various installations, but let me ask you (Rennlisters) this question?

How many of you would prepay for the "clear bra" installation based upon a photograph?

I suspect not many, so now hopefully you view the pretty photographs differently (and they don't show the hair dryers).

By way of example: A new Ford of the showroom floor looks shiny and a new Rolls Royce also looks shiny. Which is the better paint job? It is downright silly to base your opinions based upon the photos of the installation or the initial shine.

Below are some photos of the "clear bra" installation (after 2+ years) on my F430 that I paid $2K for and it is not pretty. To those of you who are satisfied, I say wait a while before you gush with your recommendations.

After 4k miles with pristine care is this acceptable to you?

If so, then go ahead and use Premier and waste your hard earned money (imo) . I have a higher standard and the ability to judge value, versus a relative one of installation. But then I have had many cars done:

08 Black Series
08 RS
07 RS
07 GT3
06 F430 (Premier and the poorest value)
06 997
05GT3
05 CGT
05 CTT
04 GT3
04 CTT
03 996
02 GT2

The above doesn't include the many referrals of my friends as well.

I am pissed that Premier would try to personalze the issue (and undermine my objectivity), but to the discriminating the pictures below and comments will provide objective input.

I am not selling anything. I want Rennlisters to get the best possible value, in appreciation for all the help I have received here.

Bottom line: you don't need to spend $2k+ to get adequate clear bra protection to get value; and if it isn't 3M I wouldn't put it on my car. Venture shield sucks.

Interesting that Premier is trolling for referrals and recommendations (See earlier posts). Study the pictures carefully before you spend your hard earned money.

I didn't invent the expressions but they have a certain appeal "ignorance is bliss" and "a fool and his money are easily parted"

I was foolish to go to Premier (that is the first step in recovery).

If the pictures below represent quality well, I have nothing more to say except that for a lot a lot less money I ca show you much better value from the above list.

Caveat Emptor!

whoa, not sure how you're driving your car. I have over 18k miles with Premier's work on my 996 that dates back almost three years and nothing like what your car. Also have 9000 miles on the X5 and looks as good as day one. It looks like you're scraping stuff everywhere. I wouldn't imagine that to be a Premier issue.
