GEZUS..... now that is a high price.......
beautiful color with the silver wheels and no decals. Love it.
Im located in canada, but it looks like i will be buying a used RS in the USA.
i wonder if this car has the factory cage plates?

There is a nice gt3 at paul miller porsche for 126000 us.
This the reason I bought y 997 tt in Texas instead of Canada, at a discount of about 35% after the 6.1% import duty and transportation.
Canadians who buy in Canada are getting f'ing ripped off...
there is no other way to describe it.
190k for a used gt3....robbery.

Just look at the classified on rennlist....beautiful looking gt3 for 117500!
That's equal to 137k Canadian after exchange and duty....I feel sorry for the Canadian dude trying to get 190K!

First of all you can't compare a GT3 to an RS and second of all, when these cars were bought in 06-07, CAD and US prices were very different. Since then, Porsche has recently adjusted the Canadian prices to reflect better the value of our dollar. Now if the car is in prestine condition, can you hold on grunge if seller doesn't want to take a big hit due to Porsche's re-evaluation on prices especially when US cars still command a premium??

They pay on imports from outside Canada. I know, I paid it on my GT3. That is all customs cared about $$$. Canadian cars already have it included in their purchase price.

Not always. I just picked a local Canadian mint 6GT3 with very low milage essentially at US fair market pricing without those import charges, shipping costs, resale value of local vs US etc.. No doubt though that better deals can be had in the US for the impatient ones however things may be changing. Importing may not be all the rage anymore for us Canadians given the significant currency changes these past few weeks and the economic weakness.

this is true. you got a great deal already in canada. Hopefully other canadian cars follow suit.
