watt,
you are obviously accustomed to cars that don't leak I've never let a little oil seepage get between me and a car I really liked!

and the associated $900 tow ride from buttonwillow to LA and $3000 repair, and the 29 days of warranty shop time for the rms and platform leaks,

where as none of my strads [or 996 gt2's, TT's, or GT3's for that matter] ever gave me any sh,t.

that's why I'm trailering my RS around this offseason...it's kinda lame but driving my car all the way to buttonwillow, infineon, thunderhill, etc seems like a pain in the ***. the amazing thing is that the 997GT3 RMS problem is solvable by using the 996TT RMS- sharky has posted lots of info on that. pretty stupid that the dealers won't acknowledge it though...

was just offered a Scud by my F-dealer @ $80K over

My salesman; (in a semi-whisper) 'ya know, if you're serious I will get you one at "market"

Me; what's Market?

MS; about...$350K

Me; I thought you said, "if I were serious"

MS; (quizzical look) what do you mean?

Me; MSRP is serious $350K is NOT

Exit stage left...

Guys, unless the next Presidential candidate (winner) can change fishes to loaves, this Winter/Spring will be a Buyer's Market
