Black Orange RS partially de-oranged, thought you might like...
Ray @ RPM was kind enough to send me some photos of a Black Orange RS with black wheels instead of orange. he had an RS he was selling; i sold him a set of black RS factor wheels. I think it sizzles.
I dig all the RS colors including the silver and the black cars, but having owned orange wheels, they can at times seem a bit matchbox like, kind of a bit surreal. in motion, moving, they are awsome.
ihad bot the black wheels so i could put them on an RS, and keep the orange wheels nice and fresh for collectability sake.
anyway, thought i would share the photos since a few had asked.

yeah, thats my favorite, my driver. i like it because its pretty darn stealthy, a darth vader type star blaster for sure. i typically dont go for black cars, but just the menacing way that thing is spec'd just does it. plus, its all factory stock RS, came stock that way, and while it has all the punch shared by all the RS's, noone knows what it is, unless you have an eye for RS's.
its just a black car. maybe a porsche. but noone would fancy it being the animal it is.
and the guy who spec'd it, whoever first ordered it, really did a special job on the car. just the right amount of stuff, but not overboard. that green car i have is so over the top, its awomse to look at , bu tmakes me neurotic to drive.

RS is an awsome car. that GT2 is a great great car, but i dont know, just something about the RS that gets me all revv'd up. in my estimation, the RS i think will go down as one of the best ever, maybe the last of the best with this PDK coming. something in me thinks it might not achieve that super porsche stardom because of the electronic gizmos and other stuff, things that didnt plaque the 993s and 964s per se...on the other hand, the way that RS drives is crazy. i've had a stradale, a 430, some other things...i'd trade them (oh yeah, i just about did) for an RS. something about it is just crazy good.
what a good looking car also...might be one of the best ever.

I'm back to looking at RS's (street Cup) and I saw an Orange/Silver. It looks really good in person. Kind of becoming fond of that combo. I think it has better staying power than the more outrageous ones. But it's all a matter of taste after all.
