I thought PNA only brought 60 RS for 08. 40 cars from YTD, not counting the one from late 07.

I don't think any of this matters at such small numbers. They sell them all, so what conclusion can be drawn? None I think.

Actually it's great information for people like myself who will be looking for one in a couple of years. This is good news as there are just as many 997GT3's as 996GT3's(considerably more if you include the RS!) and they've gotten quite reasonable since the 7's been available. Thanks for posting.

Since the car is out of production for a number of months now, where are these new cars coming from?

I don't know where these cars could be coming from, I couldn't order one and had to pay over sticker to get a used (800 miles) gt3 without the exact options I would have ordered..

These are sales reported to PCNA, but not necessarily delivered to customers for they could be "punched" cars that a dealer has in their inventory for a sales credit.

Doubtful any more are coming in.

Some dealers have held on to them, perhaps waiting until spring to finally sell them. I know for certain of 1 dealer that did that.

cars get produced but not always shipped across immediately...they ship them in large batches...hence why my euro delivery car took 8 weeks to get here
