Looks like you're going through quite a transformation. I wonder if you might have the removable trim piece that goes over the rear shelf/strut tower area. I need to modify one to fit around my new roll bar.

Thanks,

these carpet pieces are pretty hard to come by...I've been told since August to wait until Jan '08 for another one for my RS...to have incase it is sold and the new owner wants it w/o the roll bar (not likely to happen, but want it for completion, anyway)

I love projects like this. Part of the appeal of PCA/POC racing is seeing the clever combinations racers bring to the track. Freisinger Porsche had a 997 RSR hybrid of sorts on their website. Imagine a 997 with 996 RSR style flares and rear wing. It was different, and I'm sure big $$$, but it was cool.

I only have the large piece that has the GT3 logo on it.
The front end is from DP Motorsports in Germany. It is all Carbon Fiber, bumper, fenders and splitter. The wider front allows me to run 10" rims with 265/645-18 slicks
How much weight are you saving? What track are you running in the front? Is the rear still stock width?
