I have had a black G body 911 and I said I’d never do it again, but black looks good on the new RS because you cannot see all the Pontiac Aztec and Chevy Avalanche inspired black plastic….
This is the exact car that Top Gear used on their east coast road trip back in 2010 pictured in 2020. Probably one of the most viewed GT3 RS’ and one I’m sure that influenced a lot of future owners to obtain one of these cars. I found the current owners car Instagram at some point, but can’t remember what it was. This was one of the 2 997.2 GT3 RS’ on the Porsche press fleet and the one that was seen the most. Too many different media things this car was featured in to list, but the Top Gear appearance was definitely its most notable.
It snowed again yesterday so I couldn't do anything but wash it . I still say nothin beats the glimmer of newly washed white in person… except ofc for the first 30 seconds after you clean black.
I believe this might also be the car Richard Hammond had a minor off track in at VIR while on set.

thx I’ve had winter ADD with my wheels, this is the other side lol. Red hubs w/silver Porsche crest has def gotten the most attention, most are actually surprised that’s not how it came.
Damn, I think I originally said black but seeing it again, I now have to vote Red. However, I love how it's black on one side and red on the other. Best of both worlds.
