That .1 was for sale awhile back on RL. It’s a C2S but has a built motor punched out to 4.2. Lots of GT3 suspension parts, GT3 front bumper, Getty ducktail, BBS E88s, 911 rear badging. Very clean build overall. I was a big fan. The car didn’t sell on RL and was listed on PCARMarket. It didn’t sell there either but the current owner got in touch and made a deal. It was a good time to get out and meet a fellow 997 owner.
Shots from Buttonwillow. Such an experience driving this thing on track. It's much more predictable and civil than i've read, I thought it would be a handful. Only trouble i had was getting used to heel toe down shifting with the LWFW. I've never experienced a manual car that revs so fast. It's like a sportbike.
Question for .2 owners, maybe RS specific- When you blip a downshift at low rpm is it slow to respond? For me if im low RPM and i blip to go down a gear it feels pretty sluggish (i tend to heel toe all downshifts while street driving). However above 3k rpm you touch the throttle and it is sport bike ish. I dont remember if my .1 GT3 was this way but it is also a DMFW and a 3.6 with port injection.

My .2 non-RS with stock flywheel is the same exact way. I have to really heavy foot it at low RPM to heel toe, whereas it’s a much lighter touch required above 3k.

My .2 non-RS with 4.0 clutch/ LWFW is also this way.
Vin, If you want to drive it for comparison - next time in the area I’ll shoot you a message on IG or something

Ya I have this issue running around on the street “practicing”. But on the track I’m never really below 3k unless I messed up so I always thought that was the design.
