RS Green was only offered on the 997.1 RS. Though I'm not sure if it was ever available as a PTS option.
Also not sure if there was ever a PTS 997.1 RS...

Yeah, it took me about 30 seconds to decide to move forward with the purchase. It's in incredible condition. Well, except that front lip that seems eager to caress the ground at every opportunity.
Thanks, I'm loving it so far, though work has bee keeping me from driving it since I parked the car on Saturday. Frustrating.

Our resident PTS guru has confirmed this many times. His name is Eduardo, but haven't seen him post in quite a while. His post below.... https://rennlist.com/forums/991-gt3-...s-green-2.html
'RS Green' was 2D8. It was specifically formulated for the 2007 gt3 RS. Then it was allowed to be ordered PTS by others starting in MY2008...plus PAG did some special editions Cayman S Sports in that color. Since the 991 era, it remained as a PTS. It is now simply called 'Green' or 'grün' in German. 'Viper Green' is a different color from 'Signal Green'. The attached photo (#1) was taken by me at 'Porsche Exclusive' in Zuffenhausen in 2013 while I was discussing with advisors a future 'Signal Green' custom order. Pay attention to the titles that Porsche has put on their own color samples. There is no mention of 'Porsche Green'. Caveat lector.

Eduardo has said that 2 or 3 997 C2S were ordered in Signal Green, but never an RS.
Supposedly, the only 997.1 RS that left the factory as PTS, or special order, was Jerry Seinfeld's white one, which was decal delete. It's been so long that I can't remember the exact color, or if it's even true.

Did this one have the AM antenna on top and sold it to Spike? He had white .1 gt3 a few years back with AM antenna.
I wonder what happened to Eduardo, hopefully all is well.

Every single 997.1 GT3 RS that left the factory in green was RS Green. Was never available in Viper or Signal, contrary to what most people think, even some owners.

That car was on Curb. Excuse the video, family got mad when I paused the tv to film it.

I remember seeing Jerry Seinfeld’s former white RS on a promotion for Car Matchmaker with Spike Feresten awhile ago. Spike said he found a 4.0 for Jerry to buy so he could get this 3.6 from him. He owned the car for awhile before trading it for a 2015 GT3 which also had belonged to Jerry Seinfeld. Remember seeing the RS for sale about 4 or 5 years ago with between 10 and 15 thousand miles for $180k. Decided then to pass on it as I ultimately wanted a .2 RS.
The car is Carrara White and was not a PTS color. LB9A is the code for Carrara White and is not a PTS code. It was offered later on after customers requested Porsche offer a white. They eventually added it as a $4,315 color option and it came with silver wheels, body colored mirrors, black rear wing end plates, black ‘GT3 RS’ rear lid decal, and no side graphics just like the picture below. Any changes from this had to be ordered at extra cost.
