Well said, John. There's a reason that none of us are running KW's. My old car is using JRZ's, which seem to be the standard for club racers using early 911's. I got my setup from Steve Weiner. I couldn't be happier.

So what does anybody know about the Cross 15-way adjustable coil-overs used by Farnbacher Loles on their Cayman GTR (3.8 conversion)?

i talked to kip long ago about this.
just call him up, explain to him what you want to use the car for. if it's a track beast, i think he will turn you toward either jrz or moton for more $$$

I can only pass along what I've heard about the Cross stuff:

Great products, come from a serious tuning outfit in Japan.

Terrible customer support.

A quick search turned this up, FWIW.

What do you do to disarm the PASM when you switch to a different shock/spring setup on these cars?

jmorris - I am not the expert here. I like reading this stuff. But what they mean is that the JRZ/MOTONS are not PASM capable. You have to disarm them to use the setup. It's not a bad thing really since you have to dial in your setup so why press the button to stiffen it up and change the dynamics of your dial-in.

Please correct me if I am wrong. I have the 997 Turbo but I am waiting for a fairer priced PASM capable coilover kit or just go with one now and forgo the PASM all together. Mainly because I would only street this car and some mountain runs - Tail of the Dragon or North Georgia Mountain on weekends..

Thanks Alpine
I knew they weren't compatible, I was just curious if it was a big deal to disable the PASM, i.e. does the car show lights if the PASM has been disabled.

Off Topic: How is the car with the stock shocks and PASM for track use?
