Default Anyone recently get their GT3 early?

I'm becoming super impatient and anxious so wanted to know if anyone's car recently completed production earlier than Porsche said? I've got a July 17th build date and am hoping I get bumped up a week or two...

Mine was actually pushed back a few weeks because of PCCB delays.

Mine was delayed 3-4 weeks. Might have been the PCCBs

Mine was produced about a month before Euro delivery - no PCCBs.

Let's hope somehow it gets completed early so I can enjoy the car for at least a month or two of good weather...

My car is a July build. At what point in July I have no idea. I was told by my dealer that I should expect the car in mid-Aug or maybe earlier.

That doesn't seem right. My car is a June build with a July production complete date of July 17th and from others' experience, it appears that if all the ships and trucks line up perfect, the car arrives at the dealer 4 weeks after production completes.

What would they possibly do with your car from August to December?! Porsche, a lean company, would never sit on a product for that long.

I always thought it was about 2 months after the build date when you can realistically expect your car at the dealer. I hope they build mine on December 30 and I don't get it until March; but that's just me. I have a brand new Exige S that I need to get to know for a little bit before I am ready to trade again.

I talked to my dealer today. Porsche AG has changes thier process. Before it would be built, you would get a vin, then exclusive options, then ship, customs and delivery. Now once you have recieved your vin, this means it has already gone through exclusive options and is awaiting a ship date. My car has been in options for 3 weeks now, and PCNA said it would probably take another week to complete (4 weeks total as i have some interesting options) then after it is complete, another 4 weeks before i will see it in my hand. The PCCB's problem set everyone back who ordered them. So the normal time from start to keys in hand is around 6-8 weeks. Which sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!! STILL WAITING FOR MINE

Got an email from the dealer with a screenprint showing my build date is still July 17 I thought the first 1.5 months of waiting was hard, but it seems to be getting harder and harder the closer I get...

Mine is also a July 17 build, but since Porsche closes factory for 1 month end of July, unless they can put on a ship before then, my dealer says most likely end of August.
