yes but shoulder belts would have to be crossed as the mounting point is far back.

it's actually very complicated to get hans located correctly. when the horizontal bar is that far behind, you need to cross them.

also, a lot of ppl fail to put collars or locking rings on the outside of the shoulder strap. they will fall off your shoulders. better be safe than sorry.

and if you are very tall or very short, a standard bar will NOT locate the harness at the right ht/angle for HANS.

so if you are serious, pick your seat first, decide if you want slider or not (it will change your shoulder ht by 2-3"), the plant yourself in the seat chosen and mounted the way you want, measure shoulder ht to make sure the bar will work for YOU.

oh, make sure you bolt and wrap the harness correctly. 50% of the cars i see on track are not done right.

Doc,

One source is McMaster ; search "shaft collar" and you will see a number of options. I like the stainless 316 ones.

McMaster ships quickly.

Sorry to bud in Mooty but you can get the collars from:

http://www.mcmaster.com/

The ones that fit my cage were model # 6435K23

They come in various sizes and materials. The ones I got were suprisingly heavy (#1 ?) but will definitely not come off.
