congrats Paul...she's a beauty...hope it works for your back...as far as Mooty is concerned he hangs around the docks and offers to drive them to the dealer...they don't know he feels obligated to test the rev limiter

More pics tomorrow
initial thoughts after 4 hours in the drivers seat.
Like the interior I had full leather in the 996 dont seem to need it in the 7
Plastic is really well done like in my BMWs.
seems more planted not so skittish. I was on the interstate 90% of the time left it out of
PASM Sport. The sport exhaust is annoying I have to figure out how to just make it loud all the time.
its almost binary. Seat are MUCH more easy on my back. I will not go for euro seat and keep these.
suspension on normal was nice and sucked the bumps and didnt kill me like the 996 GT3
the 996 was more like a race car-this is like a race car you could drive to work everyday.
the shifter has a shorter throw. I really like the alcantara but will it last? I like the thicker wheel on the 996. it seems about as fast as the Manthey but then they had the same horse power. I like the exhaust very much but doesnt Scream like a manthey does. I didnt even notice the sunroof.
I have to say one thing having come from 9933 TT to 996GT3 to 997 GT3 the 7 is a drop dead gorgeous car. I love seeing the hips again like in my old turbo.

No need to figure out how to make the exhaust loud all the time. Here's what you need to do. On the right hand side of the engine, pull this plug and you're sorted. Thanks Arling for the picture.
