some of the options include teq. bars 996/997 around $1000 or so. rs bar is under $2000 and it fits regular 997 gt3 as well. there is a post on 6speed with pics of the rs bar in a gt3. safety devices is about $850 and i have seen it in person on a gt3 looked good. and then there is gmg racing aroun $1400.

I had one (RS Bar) installed last week. Just as ugly as the ones in the ROW RS pics, but I was trying for the originality, so I got the RS bar. Got my bar at Brandywine, but I don't think that they have any in stock at the moment

Elaborate on the ugly part, please. How's the visibility out the rear? Any pics?

Default 997 GT3 Roll Bar

I had one installed last week by Princeton Porsche. I believe that it is the 997 Tequipment bar. Great quality / unobstructed view out back. Nice fit and finish. You might consider this option. I'll post more pics this week.

What did you use for pads? I am told there are no pads available. I have my bar but I am looking for the pads.

Where's one of those "this thread is useless without photos" graphics?

Has anyone got a pic or link to the RS bar or the Tequipment bar for the 997?

Here's what I've seen:

I can email some pictures, I can't seem to post them, since I don't know how to resize the pics. Maybe someone else can post them
