Default Found out something about Porsche orders

My RS completed production on April 5th, but has not been shown as on a boat. Salesman called Porsche to find out that when a car finishes "production", if it has any "special " options, it then goes to another building where the special options are completed. That takes 7-10 days, THEN it is finished and waiting on the next ride out.

Right. "Exclusive" options that begin with a "C" IIRC get done post build. My wheels, and exclusive option, caused a two week delay in getting my car.

Yes, after what once was called Checkpoint 8, it would be sent to Werk I for certain of the Exclusive Options (others can now be installed "on the line" which reduces costs to the customer).

Made it through the last two years. All sorts of new parts and, as I am still here, planning to get a GT3 RS.

My car (RS) was completed on January 10th, it sat in Exclusive for 8 weeks, it was put on a boat on 3/6. They don't start on your car until they have "every" part. I think my black painted surround of the PCM is what held mine up.

Hope yours goes quicker. Now that I have my car all is forgotten!

I have a GT3 on order in Riviera Blue.I have had one or two bits painted inside.
My completion date has been put back 3 times, starting to get a little annoyed.
