Default Received the Projectcars CF front air vent...

and I'd have to say it's very high quality. Thick CF and a great fit. The finish on the piece is very nice. Shipping was quick(with tracking #).

Next I may bite the bullet on the CF wing.

I'm just curious, how much do you think the original vent weighs? I'm quite sure this is a visual improvement (debatable) and nothing more.

You want me to weigh it?? I'll do that tonight. I may need to find a postal scale. In my younger days...ahhh never mind.

Mitch, I think the reason for weight curiositry is what if it weighs more? If it is not equal and you are trying to reduce wieght every measurement adds up to the total reduction number. But I do agree that this is nothing more than a cosmetic thing. Besides, not sure about y'all but I an not running a CF front splitter. I have been through many of them. I think I would prefer spending $150 versus whatever this CF one sells for.

Do you also have a picture with the vent off the car. I am very interested to see the parts which shows under the vent.

Goes to show that it's all for looks. It might be damn close but it's not even lighter.
