Default West Coast RS/GT3 Waiters!

News for those on the West coast who had an RS/GT3 on board the RYUJIN...

I understand that 5-6 cars are headed for you on an Intercity truck...after it drops mine off here in NJ. Dunno when the truck leaves Baltimore but should speed up your deliveries instead of waiting for the boat to arrive in San Diego 3/13.

I'll post when mine arrives at the dealer...hope soon. Cheers!

Great news!!! That should save at least a week of agonizing waiting. Thanks for the heads up.

What are you talking about and what is your source???

The truck has to leave Baltimore to drop your car off in NJ. Perhaps you can speak to the driver...
My guess that there are more than 1 RS destined for the Eastern US.

So we're bypassing the port at SD now? What is going on? I know my RS is on the Ryujin (or should be). More information please.

Josh: how do you like the AMG wagon? I am unloading the Range Rover and was thinking of the MB.

Aside from a few quality issues I love my Wagon. I had an '05 E55 Wagon before I purchased the E63. I occasionally miss the torque of the 55 but there are lots of improvements that make the 63 a more refined car overall. I like the revised hydraulic brakes (Mercedes had lots of trouble with their brake-by-wire technology) and the 7spd transmission is much slicker than the archaic 5spd in the 55. I really dig wagons and until we see an RS6 Avant or an M5 Touring I'll keep buying AMGs.

All the RS in Ryujin are being sold to East Coast buyers over sticker, because the West coast buyers didn't pass a credit check...

I just found out from my sales mgr that my GT3 will be trucked to SoCal. Should take a week instead of the two weeks by boat.

Source is my dealer. And I'm just saying that the truck that my car is on also has a few cars bound for the West coast. After this truck drops off my car at the dealer, he then heads west. The exact date of delivery is still unknown. To be sure, there are 7 RS and 22 GT3s coming off the RYUJIN.
