I find myself dreaming and thinking of a 997.2 RS daily. I love my current 991RS but have the want to go back to a 997. Especially since my good friend @DD GT3 RD tease me all the time with his 997/3
Pricing has gone bonkers with the low mileage high spec garage queens as we all know, but where are the values of the 50K+ miles 997.2RS?
The 50K-70K mile RS is probably my only window to getting into a 997.2 3RS

There won't be many. You will likely see more options if you expand the aperture to 35k+ miles or also consider 997.1 RS.

There’s a 7.1 RS for sale in the for sale marketplace here right now.

Would agree with above in looking for any well-cared-for car with 30K+ Small population though and I'm guessing you won't be the only value shopper looking for one either.

there is one currently for sale @ zweck $247,000
59k miles.2010. launch colors. (no buckets or pccb)
no affiliation.
my RS has about same mileage. im second owner. car is in very good condition and very well maintained. not for sale. wouldn’t discount for “mileage” much if it was. and its not.

I agree, will def be other people out there looking for the value. I mainly am looking for the higher mile car because i need a driver, i dont leave any cars in the garage and I prefer to enjoy my cars regardless of value, limited production etc etc. I think the benefit I might have is I dont mind one tracked/driven hard

Unfortunately that seems to be the market now. I wouldn't expect to see a 997.2 RS for under 200k unless we hit a big recession or if it has a salvage title. Good luck on your hunt, it'll be well worth it when you find the one you're looking for!

Im not sure I would get a 997.2 RS for a daily. This coming from an immature adult with a super high tolerance for stupidity in cars, but this car just isn't made for traffic conditions. I daily a 700hp mk4 supra and that is more enjoyable in stop and go LA nonsense because it shines in light to light performance. The RS feels clunky and underutilized in boring city situations- heavy clutch, notchy gearbox and the motor just feels unhappy sluggin' around at low rpm. That said, it is an incredible car and if you have the means and ***** to daily one, go for it and be the hero we all want to be.
I often consider getting a 991 RS because i feel i would drive it more frequently, however every time I drive mine I can't bring myself to give it up. 32k and counting- nearly 5k added in my 1 year of ownership!

The cheapest I’ve ever seen a .2rs for was listed 95k 60k miles. About 10 years ago. Owner is here and still has it.
Goood luck finding any 997rs under 200k right now.
